Lennart Grahn

Born in 1961 and raised in Falköping, Sweden. Lennart Grahn started playing the recorder at the age of seven, and his path through the municipal school of arts has led to an entire professional life as a trumpeter.

Three questions for Lennart Grahn

What are your musical inspirations?

– I’m a musical omnivore, but I can get especially excited by good, long melodies.

How long have you played in the Bohuslän Big Band?

– Since 1995.

What is your best memory with Bohuslän Big Band?

– The concert with Carla Bley, Steve Swallow and the Bohuslän Big Band, plus a German boys’ choir that I think was from Dortmund. Absolutely fantastic!
